We4Authors Cluster
Refreshed We4Authors Cluster site with 2022 and 2024 archives, feature specifications, and partner mirrors.
We4Authors is an EU-funded pilot led by Funka to make accessibility the default in authoring tools. This rebuilt site merges the 2022 and 2024 accessibilitycluster.com archives, adds locally stored technical specifications, and keeps mirrors of partner material for long-term reference.
The goal: help web authors publish accessible content from the start, reducing remediation costs and improving compliance with the Web Accessibility Directive.
What’s new in this refresh
- 2024 snapshot pages for the ten prototyped accessibility features, each linked to mirrored technical specification PDFs.
- 2022 snapshot content transcribed into Markdown for long-term preservation.
- Mirrors of Funka’s We4Authors materials and issue references in HISTORY.md.
